What is the SOS Ministry at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church?
Serving Our Seniors is a volunteer community organization made up of multiple churches and community partners who are serving the needs of seniors in the Cobb County community including those in nursing homes, assisted living, or sick and shut-in. Every year we host a Thanksgiving dinner on the Wednesday prior to, to allow our volunteers time to spend with seniors who may or may not have family near, as well with their own families on Thanksgiving Day. We appreciate all the volunteers and ministries that donate time, funds and services for this awesome outreach.
This year is the 14th Anniversary so we hope it’s the biggest and best turn out ever. Due to the pandemic, we will prepare Thanksgiving Meals "To-Go" this year.
